Job Description:
Our client, a government entity in Abu Dhabi, is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join their expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational and strategic support integrated communication to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers.
- Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
- Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine or regular email bulletin. You may also be required to work on the layout of content.
- Keep clients abreast of progress and answer their questions.
- Design content and oversee implementation for communications, cultural and wellness calendars, meetings and other events.
- Use social media to communicate with staff internally.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Media, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in with a focus on Internal Communications. Experience gained from an agency is a must.
- Exceptionally strong ability to communicate both in writing and verbally and superlative writing and editing skills in English. Arabic would be considered an added advantage.
- Note: This is a 1-year contract with the potential of converting to a full-time position based on performance.
