Job Description:
On behalf of an international investment bank, we are seeking candidates with a strong understanding of both quantitative and fundamental analysis.
You will be responsible for Microstrategy research, conducting both top-down and bottom-up analysis to develop investment strategies combining fundamental and quantitative approaches.
Requirements:
- Conduct research and analysis on companies, industries and markets combining quantitative and fundamental approaches.
- Develop investment strategies (e.g., arbitrage) based on research findings and market trends. It is important that you have the ability to access and assess data at both fundamental and macro level.
- Write both thematic and shorter-term research reports for buy-side clients.
- Build and maintain models and databases using financial technology, alternative data, AI, and Machine Learning.
Responsibilities
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in financial markets, very strong preference for sell-side.
- Very strong analytical and quantitative skills combined with advanced programming, data analysis and financial modelling abilities.
- Advanced in any of Python, R, MATLAB, VBA, C++
- Expert knowledge of financial databases.
- Data analytics skills are required with ability in machine learning strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Degree in Mathematics, Engineering Economics, Finance or related discipline
- Fluent English, oral and written.
